LAG Community Care Conference: what price dignity?

Placing quality of life at the heart of care decisions.
Last year’s annual conference brought together key players from policy and practice to highlight the need to set minimum standards and challenge local authority decisions to withdraw support. A focused programme of informative lectures, panel discussions and practical workshops offered a timely opportunity for delegates and speakers to network, share best practice and debate the pathway to a unified and fair system of care.

Steve Hynes, LAG's director, gives a flavour of the main themes and discussions at the group's community care conference, held in London in November last year.
