About the Job

Salary: on a scale from £33,989 to £39,913 per annum, including London Weighting, with a possible progression to £42,624.
UKCISA’s Advice & Training Team advises on all aspects of international student policy, regulations and legislation – particularly in relation to immigration, employment and tuition fee assessment. You will need to know how to process relevant areas of law, alongside government policy, guidance, web materials and application forms, into written items for international students, professionals working with international students and training materials.
This is in the context of a challenging time, with the immigration system subject to constant change, particularly with the UK’s exit from the EU on the horizon. We therefore need someone who can apply themselves very quickly.
In addition, you should be able to identify issues in government materials (including the law itself) which need to be clarified or prioritised for lobbying the relevant government department.
