• Tunç and Tunç v Turkey*   App No 24014/05,   14 April 2015 Tunç concerned Cihan Tunç, a Turkish army sergeant and a gendarme who was killed in disputed circumstances while protecting the site of a private oil company. A military prosecutor initiated an investigation, during which an autopsy and forensic tests were conducted. Potential witnesses were questioned.
