Most criminal defence solicitor advocates will be aware that they will have to become accredited under the Quality Assurance Scheme for Advocates. The scheme will be launched in January 2013; but you must notify the SRA of  your intention to do so by 21 September 2012. The relevant form will be available from noon today.
