About the Job
We are one of the leading firms in the UK for immigration and refugee law.
We are recruiting for immigration solicitors and senior immigration caseworkers to join our committed team of over thirty specialists.
We have vacancies for one immigration solicitor and two Level 2 accredited caseworkers.
You must have a good academic record (a minimum 2:1 degree) and be able to demonstrate commitment to working for migrants and refugees.
We require dynamic individuals who are efficient administrators with excellent oral and written communication skills. You should be computer literate and able to work to tight deadlines within a team environment.
Solicitor vacancy:
You will run an immigration/asylum caseload working on privately and/or publicly funded cases including judicial review and Court of Appeal applications.
If you wish to work on publicly funded cases, you must be accredited to Level 2 under the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Law Accreditation Scheme (IAAS).
Starting salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum according to experience.
Level 2 caseworker vacancies:
You will work primarily on publicly funded asylum and detention matters with some general immigration casework. You will conduct your own caseload under the supervision of a solicitor.
You must be accredited to Level 2 under the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Law Accreditation Scheme (IAAS). You must also have a good academic record (a minimum 2:1 degree) and be able to demonstrate commitment to working in a legal aid firm and working for migrants and refugees.
Starting salary: from £22,500 per annum according to experience.
