Nic Madge is completing an MA in documentary photography and photo-journalism at the University of the Arts, London College of Communication. He was a circuit judge.
He sat for 23 years, initially as a district judge, and then as a circuit judge. Prior to that he was head of the Housing Department at Bindman and Partners, London and a solicitor at Camden Community Law Centre. He is the co-author of Housing Law Casebook (LAG, 7th edn, 2016), Defending Possession Proceedings (LAG, 8th edn, 2016) and a member of the senior editorial board of Civil Procedure (the 'White Book') (Sweet & Maxwell). He was co-author of 'Recent developments in housing law' in Legal Action. He was a founder member of the Housing Law Practitioners' Association.
