Campaign group the Justice Alliance is holding a "Farewell to Grayling" event outside the Ministry of Justice, 102 Petty France, London at 5pm on Tuesday (5th May).   Criminal legal aid firms have to complete their tenders for duty work by next Tuesday.  If the tenders go ahead over a thousand firms will lose out and many will be forced to close. Labour has pledged to scrap the tenders if they return to government. The event will be the last chance for legal aid campaigners to protest against the cuts before election day.   Whichever party or, parties forms the next government legal aid lawyers will hope that Tuesday's festivities will be a goodbye rather than au revoir to the current Lord Chancellor.
