Shelter launches Grenfell campaign

Grenfell Never again Shelter
Shelter has launched a campaign to try to prevent another Grenfell tragedy. It is urging people to write to their MPs to demand the following action from the government:
1Make sure all Grenfell residents are rehoused securely within the borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and supported properly. Share the information they’re asking for with them.
2Prioritise building high-quality council homes and living rent homes, so people on low incomes can live safely and in humane conditions.
3Commit to indefinite leave to remain for undocumented migrants who lived in Grenfell Tower, so they feel secure to come forward for support.
4Ensure Grenfell residents and the victims’ families remain at the heart of investigations – including the national inquiry – so we can listen to and learn from them.
