Eleven fully funded trainee solicitor posts at social welfare law providers are being offered. There are 20 current fellows and the first intake of trainees, who joined the scheme in 2014, are due to qualify next year. According to Matthew Smerdon, LEF’s chief executive: ‘The calibre of our existing fellows is exceptional. They are already making an impact, and we expect the 2016 intake to be equally brilliant.’
