9.49There is no longer a separate permission stage, and the court will issue the application form as soon as practicable after the application form is filed.1COPR r65. The court will seal the application form and stamp it with the date of issue. This is the date on which the proceedings formally commence.2COPR r62. The application form will be returned to the applicant for the applicant then to serve the proceedings in accordance with the procedure set out below.
